The main problem found in most smartphones is the limited battery life. When making excessive use of these devices it is difficult for battery to lasts a day on a single charge, and for this reason we will tell you how to optimise the battery life on our Android. Here we will see a number of tricks and tips to make the most of our Android battery. How we can utilise the options found on most Android devices right out of the factory.
Reduce Screen Brightness And Standby Time
The screen is what consumes most of our Android battery. To reduce its consumption we can reduce its brightness to a minimum or at least activate automatic brightness. It is advisable to have a very low brightness when the phone is not connected to the charger or when weather conditions do not require it. We can also put a shorter waiting time for the mobile, as it does not need to stay idle for a long time. The time depends on each person usage, in most phones the default 1 minute, but we can try to set less time if we are not reading something.
Disables The Connections You Are Not Using Always try to activate only those connections that you are using at the time. If not making use of WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS or 3G is better to have them off, because otherwise it will be consuming battery meaninglessly. The Although GPS is enabled and activated in the default configuration is actually begins to consume battery when an application wants to know your exact position, as Google Maps or Foursquare, showing in the status bar icon looking for GPS signal. If you are not interested at that time to tell your exact location it is better to keep GPS off.
Set Synchronisation Application The permanent Internet sync application is another thing that can reduce battery. Many applications check periodically to see if there is nothing new to access the application or see your widget displays for updated information. In this case it is best to try to set a longer refresh time or directly disabling it, especially if there are no notifications and just the applications is running data updates.
Use The Power Control Widget To facilitate the management of connections, screen brightness and synchronization data in most Android phones find the Power Control widget; either add it to your desktop or embed it in the notification bar with more buttons. This widget is a quick and convenient way to see that what power settings are on and what are off.
Charge Your Android Whenever Possible Do not wait for the phone to show you the low battery warning, charges your battery whenever possible to prevent the phone leaving us thrown out, but as long as you do not charge you put at risk the life of the battery. Avoid leaving the house with very little power if we know that we will take long to come back.
Low Battery Safety If we see that we are running out of power and the situation says that you won be able to charge phone in time, try to extend the battery life by putting the screen brightness to minimum, disable all connections and synchronisation. If we receive a lot of calls we can remove the vibration. With all this battery will last us a little more.
